K'Ehleyr was a half-human/half-Klingon hybrid who served as the Federation ambassador to the Klingon Empire and mothered Alexander Rozhenko after mating with Worf. She was killed by Klingon High Councilor Duras when, during the Rites of Succession following the death of Klingon Chancellor K'mpec, she discovered the role of Duras' father in the Romulan attack on Khitomer.
Like most Star Trek hybrids, K'Ehleyr had behavioral issues with which she constantly struggled. In her case, she claimed that her Klingon ancestry made her prone to fits of rage against which her human side constantly fought.
