Beskar

Beskar is an exotic alloy developed by the Mandalorians for use in their war against the Jedi. It is durable enough to repel direct hits from blasters and even resist prolonged contact with lightsabers, making it an important component of the best Mandalorian body armor. The alloy is quite rare, especially following the fall of the Galactic Empire. Beskar ingots are sometimes used as currency in high-value transactions.
