Considering there is more than one accent in the Med, you can't really say there is a specific accentfor the Med. Anyway I've been to several Med countries (Greece, Spain, Cyprus, Egypt to name some) and never heard anyone talking like Watto.

Vader didn't. Palpatine didn't. That new queen of Naboo in AOTC didn't. General Han Solo didn't. Luke Skywalker didn't. Mace Windu didn't. And by the way, I've been to Cambridge and only heard one person speak with an "educated" accent and that was the professor sitting next to me at the dining table who had just come back from meeting the Queen and was a little drunk. (According to him he'd had a drink there and he'd continued drinking at dinner.)
