Loki has created an illusion of himself and slipped away invisibly at least a couple of times, but he never stays invisible for long. I wonder if this is because the writers acknowledge that to be invisible, he also has to be blind, since by becoming transparent or bending light around himself, he's also preventing it from interacting with his own eyes. Consequently, he has to drop the "cloak" pretty quickly to be able to perceive what's going on around him. --Ted C 16:54, 27 January 2014 (EST)
