Count Dooku was a Jedi Master who left the Order for unspecified reasons. Sometime between the Battle of Naboo and the Battle of Geonosis, he apprenticed himself to Darth Sidious and took the Sith name Darth Tyranus. He was killed by Anakin Skywalker at the Battle of Coruscant.

Traits

Count Dooku was the Jedi apprentice of Yoda and the trainer of Qui-Gon Jinn. He was regarded as an excellent fighter with a lightsaber. Unusually, he preferred a one-handed fighting style.

As a Sith, Dooku demonstrated great skill at telekinesis and force lightning.

Trivia

• His Sith name of "Tyranus" is often misspelled as "Tyrannus."
