MC80a star cruiser

Capital ships built by the Mon Calamari. They vary in shape, but are consistently 1,300 m in length, ovoid, and typically have wings similar to the Liberty class. Officially they are armed with 48 turbolasers, 20 ion cannons, and 6 tractor beams. They carried 1,200 troops and 36 starfighters. Its acceleration capabilities are unknown, but it mounted a class 1.0 hyperdrive and standard repulsors. The MC80a was phased into service around the time of the Battle of Endor and became more popular in the ensuing war. In addition to being larger, it is credited with being more powerful then the MC80 star cruiser
