History
The Eldar were once the dominant species in the Warhammer 40,000 universe with a galaxy spanning empire and lived in an idyillic setting. Never-the-less, internal denegrations began to work their way into Eldar society. Various cults inside Eldar civilization emerged dedicated to experiencing everything the world could offer, begining with simple hedonism and then moving towards cruel and Sadistic rituals involving torture and murder. These acts and those who died from them sent out powerful psionic emminations into the Warp, eventually culminating in the birth of the Chaos god Slaanesh, which whiped out most of the Eldar's civilization in it's birth, leaving only scattered reminants.
Organization
What Remains of Eldar Civilization is largely located on Craftworlds, massive spacecraft which contain massive cities.
Threat Assessment
Despite their small numbers, the Eldar never-the-less remain a marginally powerful faction in the Milky Way Galaxy. The Eldar have superior technology to that of the Imperium of Man as well as commanding very powerful Psionics, as well as a safer method of FTL Travel than most factions in the Webway.
