Beverly Crusher strongly objected when Dr. Toby Russell proposed using an experimental "genetronic replication" treatment on Worf's damaged spine,[1] even though Worf volunteered for the procedure. On the other hand, she had no objection to using Dr. Pulaski's experimental procedure for erasing memories on an unwilling, injured Mintakan.[2]
