History: The Intrepid Class was designs as a long range range ship capable of high speeds. The Intrepid was first mentioned in the 7th season of Star Trek: The Next Generation. The next ship was USS Voyager which got stranded in the Delta Quadrant for 7 years and brought back many new technologies and tech concepts. There is also the USS Bellerophon; Admiral William Ross's flagship which he used on a diplomatic mission to Romulus. In 2379, the USS Intrepid was assigned to Task Force Omega in Sector 1045 to assist the Enteprise E against the Scimitar.
