History: The Galaxy Class was first introduced in the late 2350s/early 2360s as one of the most advanced ships in the Federation. it had a similar space frame to the Nebula Class. These ships are armed with 14 Phaser Arrays, 2 Photon Torpedo Tubes, and 275 Photon Torpedoes, The ship has a high capacity shield grid. The class is extremely massive compared to most starships. By the year 2371, 3 Galaxy Class Ships were destroyed: The USS Yamato, USS Odyssey, and USS Enteprise D. They also fought in notable Dominion War battles such as Operation Return, the Raid on Torros 3, The 1st Battle of Chin'toka, and the Battle of Cardassia. The USS Galaxy was also part of Task Force Omega in 2379.
