Terra

Terra is a small planet orbiting an average yellow-dwarf star near the outer rim of a barred spiral galaxy called the Milky Way. In reality, it is the only known planet with a sentient species on it. Its inhabitants refer to the planet as 'Earth' in the dominant language (citation needed) known as English. It has a single very large natural satellite referred to as 'Luna' or 'The Moon'.

It figures prominently as the homeworld of the human species in a great number of science-fiction stories, shows, movies, and books. Star Trek has Earth as the seat and origin of the United Federation of Planets, for example.
