The Outer Rim territories are the frontier worlds that lay between the Mid Rim and Wild Space. The outer rim is generally noted for being underdeveloped and lawless.

Home to worlds such as Mustafar and Tatooine, the Outer Rim was governed by Grand Moff Tarkin until his untimely demise.
