Submarine
A submarine is a type of ship capable of traveling underwater. Submarines were experimented with since the 18th century, with the first submarine which managed to destroy a ship being the CSS Hunley during the American Civil War, although the submarine's prominence as a key part of the Navy would not arrive until the Great War. The main advantage of a submarine is stealth, with the typical armament of modern submarines being torpedos and submarine-launched ballistic missiles.
