The Young Races are a variety of humanoid races in the Babylon 5 series that developed space travel in the last few thousand years. The collective term distinguishes them from the First Ones, who evolved and developed into interstellar travellers millions of years ago.
The Young Races include:
- Humans (specifically, the Earth Alliance)
- Minbari
- Centauri
- Narns
- the various races of the League of Non-Aligned Worlds
