Fantasy is a genre of fiction involving supernatural elements, generally based on mythology in one way or another. As fantasy differs from science fiction in many ways, the SD.net BBS has a separate forum for the discussion of fantasy.

• High fantasy (The Lord of the Rings by JJR Tolkin)
• Low fantasy (Conan the Barbarian)
• Horror fantasy (the Cthulhu mythos by HP Lovecraft, various things involving vampires and werewolves)
• Superhero Genre (Marvel Comics, DC Comics)
