MACO

A MACO soldier

Military Assault Command Operations (abbreviated MACO) was a unit of Special Forces operated by the Earth Government in the mid-22nd century. MACO troops were assigned to the USS Enterprise in the third and fourth seasons of Star Trek: Enterprise during the campaign against the Xindi. MACO forces were not part of Starfleet.
