A maladjusted individual who disrupts, hacks, invades, or otherwise attacks a forum, usually doing it for their own amusement or edification, or, in the parlance, 'doing it for the lulz'. Trolling can and usually does get punished swiftly and evenhandedly on SDN, unlike other forums which have a Style over Substance policy or board culture however explicit or implied.
