Vibroweapon

A vibroweapon is a catch all term for any melee weapon that enhances its damage by vibrating at several thousand hertz, creating a sawing effect as the sharp portion of the weapon cuts into its target. They have a reputation as extremely messy nasty ways to die. Vibroweapons are often found in the hands of bodyguards, thugs, and others who value intimidation. Assassins typically forgo these noisy weapons.
