Batman

Batman is a DC comic book superhero. He along with Superman are considered the cornerstones of the DC Comic Book Universe.

Attributes

Batman, who in his non-superhero guise is the Multi-Millionare Bruce Wayne, is a superhero that relies on his wits, training and high tech gadgets in his efforts to fight crime. Inspired to join in the war against crime in his home town of Gotham City because of the murder of his parents when he was a boy by a common street thug. He using his massive corporation, Wayne Enterprises, to supply him with his crime fighting equipment.

Associates

Batman has several people that help him with his war on crime the chiefest of whom is his butler, and always awesome, Alfred Pennyworth. Batman can also rely on his company technical specialist and technology expert Lucius Fox for the creation of his many gadgets.

Over the course of his career, Batman has recruited several boys as his sidekicks under the superhero identity Robin. These include, Richard Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Carrie Kelley(non-cannon), Stephanie Brown, and Damian Wayne. Dick Grayson did later take on superhero identity of Nightwing later in his career.

There are others that uses the Batman theme but are women. Most of them started out as separate hero simply inspired by Batman to join in with his crime fighting efforts.
