A diesel-electric hunter-killer submarine that can launch guided missiles to engage aircraft and surface vessels.

The Kraken-class is a Miratian designed hunter-killer submarine, built for naval defense. Since it would only operate within and around Frequesue, the design sacrifices endurance in favour of firepower, and detection capability. As a result of this, it lacks the range necessary to engage in intercontinental operations, but carries a large store of missiles and torpedoes.
