The Battle of Utapau was one of the last battles of the Clone Wars. Investigating reports of Separatist activity on the Outer Rim world of Utapau, Obi-Wan Kenobi found that General Grievous had covertly gained control of the planet.

Obi-Wan sent his fighter away under control of his droid to summon reinforcements, while he continued to investigate the extent of the CIS occupation, eventually locating and confronting General Grievous. The reinforcements arrived while he was dueling Grievous, who attempted to escape during the battle. Obi-Wan pursued Grievous to the ship that the Separatist general intended to use to escape and killed him.
