Hoth

Hoth is a planet in the Star Wars Universe. The Sixth World in its system, Hoth has an extremely cold climate, with most of its surface constantly covered in glaciers. Despite the harsh environment, Hoth does have an indiginous ecology, including herd-dwelling Tauntauns and predatory Wampas. Because it was uninhabited and out of the way, the Rebel Alliance established a base on Hoth, but the base was destroyed at the Battle of Hoth.
