Jedi

The Jedi Order was an organization of individuals trained to use the Force to help maintain order in the Galactic Republic. The Jedi served primarily as investigators, negotiators, and special police, but during the Clone Wars, they served as officers in the Grand Army of the Republic. The Jedi Order required strict discipline from its members and only trained them in Light Side Force techniques.
