Demon (also spelled Daemon) is a term refering to evil spiritual creatures of non human origin.

• Fallen Angels who sided with lucifer and reside in hell in Abrahamic mythology
• Various Yokai in Shinto Mythology

Demons in Fiction

While many strains of Demons exist in fiction and many of them are either incorporeal or shape shifters, the most common image of a Demon borrows from Christianity bearing a resemblance to the Greek forest god of Pan.
