Neo Confederatism

Neo Confederatism is the belief that the the South was just in fighting the American Civil War. People that believe this often believe that the South broke away from the Union to preserve the rights of individual rights. This of course utter bullshit, since the explanation makes absolutely no sense, and more importantly, when states succeeded and formed the Confederacy, they said openly stated that reason for their actions. If anybody wonders where this nonsense from, it was created by people the believed the Confederacy was just in fighting the war, and then started making this shit up after the war ended to try and make the Confederacy not look as bad as it really was.
