Black Star

The Black Star was a Minbari Warcruiser and the flagship of the Minbari Federation's navy during the Earth-Minbari War. It was destroyed in a minefield during the latter part of the war.

Destruction

The Black Star was destroyed by John Sheridan, who lured it into a trap consisting of nuclear weapons concealed in an asteroid field. After planting 2-megaton bombs in the asteroid belt, Sheridan sent a distress signal to Earth. The Black Star picked up the distress call and jumped in to destroy Sheridan's ship before help could arrive, only to be destroyed when Sheridan remotely detonated the bombs nearest the Minbari warship.
