The USS Odyssey was a Galaxy-class Federation starship that attempted to defend a Federation colony in the Gamma Quadrant against attack by the Dominion. The Odyssey was quickly routed when her shields proved ineffective against the weapons of the Jem'Hadar attack ships, and she was destroyed completely when one of the attack ships rammed her while she was trying to escape.
