-The Intrepid Class was designs as a long range range ship capable of high speeds. The Intrepid was first mentioned in the 7th season of ''[[Star Trek|Star Trek: The Next Generation]]''. The next ship was ''USS Voyager'', which got stranded in the [[Delta Quadrant]] for 7 years and brought back many new technologies and tech concepts. There is also the ''USS Bellerophon'', Admiral William Ross's flagship which he used on a diplomatic mission to Romulus. In 2379, the ''USS Intrepid'' was assigned to Task Force Omega in Sector 1045 to assist the [[Enteprise-E]] against the [[Scimitar]].
