From an old WEG Imperial Sourcebook, if we don't want to trust it that's fine with me. I have found the extra armor and shielding in other sources. As far as the cloaking device, it was just a minor notation in the section on cloaking devices. The wording was, it is believed that the Emperor's shuttle is fitted with a experimental cloaking device for extra protection. I don't have the book available to double check it however. I did check Wookiepedia and it does confirm that it is there. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Emperor_Palpatine%27s_shuttle. They reference the Star Wars Encyclopedia as the source.
