Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was the first new Star Wars film since ROTJ. TPM was highly anticipated by the fanbase, as well as by the general public. Sadly, their anticipation was in vain, for when the movie was released, it was an incoherent mess aimed purely at pre-adolescent children with fart jokes, shit jokes, and Jar Jar Binks, although it is widely praised for the epic lightsaber duel at its climax.
