Apophis was a Goa'uld System Lord.
History
Once a notable System Lord in the established hierarchy, after failing to destroy the Tau'ri, Apophis lost a considerable amount of prestige among his peers. They turned upon him and eventually caused him to lose his empire. He later made a comeback after seizing control of the domain of the Goa'uld Sokar. His ultimate demise happened after a failed attempt to destroy the Tok'ra, in which he was left stranded on a Ha'tak-class warship that SG-1 had infested with Replicators, which crashed into his capital of Del'mak.

- Killing Sokar and taking control of his armies
- Taking Her'ur'er's armies and killing him
