Apophis was a Goa'uld System Lord.
History
Once a notable System Lord in the established hierarchy, after failing to destroy the Tau'ri Apophis lost a considerable amount of prestige among his peers. This turned them onto him and eventually caused him to lose his empire. He later made a comeback after seizing control of the domain of the Goa'uld Sokar. His ultimate dimise happened after a failed attempt to destroy the Tok'ra in which he was left stranded on a Ha'tak class warship infested by Replicators by SG-1 which crashed into his capital of Del'mak.
Acts of note
- Killing Sokar and taking control of his armies
- Taking Her'ur'er's armies and killing him
- Killing SG-1 once.
