Commander Donatra is the commanding officer of the Romulan Warbird IRW Valdore. In 2379, she and Commander Suran were participants in Shinzon's coup de e'tat when he killed the Romulan Senate. Later on, she and Suran helped the crew of of the USS Enterprise-E battle the Scimitar, though they were of little help, as their ships were much weaker than the Enterprise-E, which had been fighting for quite some time already. Afterwords, Donatra gave aid to the Enterprise-E.
