The phased plasma gun (often abreviated to PPG) is a type of plasma-based small arm used in the Earth Alliance. PPGs fulfill most of the standard roles of military small arms: handguns, submachineguns, and rifles. A heavy machine gun apparently based on PPG technology was seen once in a vision of the future.
