Captain Rachel Garret was the captain of the USS Enterprise NCC-1701-C. In 2344, she responded to a distress call from the Klingon outpost Narenda III. She encountered the four Romulan Warbirds there. After several shots were exchanged, the ship fell through a temporal rift into an alternate future where the Federation had been at war with the Klingon Empire for over 20 years. During an attack by the Klingons, Captain Garrett was killed. Her position was succeeded by Lieutenant Castillo.
