A Jetpack is a worn device (Generally attached to the Back) that uses some form of accelerated gas to grant said person flight.

While it is possible to make a jetpack with modern technology, they are not pratical devices due to fuel limitations preventing flights of more than a minute.

- In Star Wars, Jango Fett and latter on, his son make use of Jetpacks
- In Warhammer 40,000, Jetpacks are fairly common, from those that are used by Imperial Space Marines and by Elite Firewarriors in Tau Battlesuits to orkish "rokkit packz" (solid state Rockets with a series of straps to hold the Ork on with a system of controls consisting of an on/off switch) used by "Stormboyz".
