A sector is an economic and political division which originated in the early days of the Old Republic. Originally a cluster of star systems with about 50 inhabited planets, the definition of a sector became quite vague and open to redefinition as the Old Republic aged.
Sectors are governed by Imperial Moffs.
All the military forces within a sector are divided into two units, listed below:
- Sector Group (All Naval Forces within a Sector)
- Sector Army (All Land Forces within a Sector)
