Artificial gravity refers to the Simulation or recreation of Gravity, generally to recreate the effects of being in a gravity well (such as on the surface of a planet) for various purposes, most notably for the Convienience of lifeforms that evolved to live in such enviroments (such as Humans). The methods generally put forward to do this are via the Inertia of a an accelerating spacecraft and via Centripetal force.
