Merculite rockets are starship weapons used by some civilizations in Star Trek, most notably the Talarians.[1]
While a "battery" of these weapons is reportedly capable of destroying an unshielded Ferengi cruiser [2], they are described as far less powerful than photon torpedos. Most of the major Alpha Quadrant civilizations consider them obsolete.
