Reference Figures
- Standard Gravity on Earth: 9.80665 m/s² = One Gee.
- Gravity on Earth's Moon: 1.622 m/s²
- Gravity on Mars: 3.71 m/s²
Calculating Gees
Let us say that your object is accelerating at 400 Gs (like HIBEX).
Figuring out it's acceleration in meters per second, or m/s can be done by the following calculation:
400 * 9.80665 = 3,922.66 m/s²
