The Blue Suns are a mercenary organization that operates in the Terminus Systems in Mass Effect.
Organization
The Blue Suns are controlled by a commander named Vido Santiago, who makes decisions regarding contracts and independent operations. Lesser officers oversee Blue Suns operations on particular worlds. Their operational doctrine emphasizes firepower and combined-arms, and they make heavy use of combat mechs. The Blue Suns commonly engage in criminal activities, such as extortion rackets and piracy.
Membership
The Blue Suns recruit humans, turians, and batarians.
Threat Assessment
The Blue Suns are a significant force in the poorly governed Terminus Systems, but their forces are far too limited to threaten a major planetary government, let alone an interstellar government.
