Colonel Worf was the Klingon defence attorney assigned to Captain Kirk and Doctor McCoy during their trial on Qo'noS. Despite an adequate performance, he failed to secure the men's release[1].
Colonel Worf is widely accepted to be an ancestor of TNG's Worf.
