Speeder is the general term for repulsorlift vehicles, both civilian and military. It includes both vehicles that float at most a couple of meters above the ground and vehicles that have an altitude ceiling of a few kilometers. As the name indicates, speeders can typically achieve high speeds: hundreds of kilometers per hour.
