The Bilisknir-class cruiser was a type of spacecraft used by the Asgard for thousands of years against the Goa'uld and Replicators. It was more than capable of dealing with numerous Goa'uld Ha'tak-class motherships until Anubis began upgrading his fleet[1]. From 2001 on, it began being phased out in favor of the newer O'Neill-class battleships and Jackson-class science vessels. The Bilisknir is capable of traveling between galaxies in minutes. The Bilisknir is powered by four neutrino-ion generator with a total output of 4,000,000,000 kilojoules per milisecond[2].
