The '''State of Israel''' is a nation created in the middle eastern coast of the Mediterranean. It came out of the Jewish Zionist movement (a plan to get Jewish people away from Europe's Antisemitism), leading to the establishment of jewish settlements in the area and latter the foundation of an independant nation state after the second world war. For various reasons (conflict with natives, control of Holy sites, Imported Nazi antisemtism via the Grand Mufti, the list goes on), the State of Israel has become very unpopular among the Arabic world and has drawn criticisms from others.

The State of Israel is a nation created in the middle eastern coast of the Mediterranean in 1948. The nation of Israel came out of the Zionist movement, a political movement that started out with a belief that Jews needed their own nation to escape European antisemitism.

The existence of the country, as well as it's policies in the region and it's treatment of the Palestinians, is quite controversial on SDN and is the subject of a moratorium unless there is new information to discuss.
