The Destiny

The Destiny was a starship built by the Ancients millions of years ago with the purpose of exploring other stargate networks that were planted by a gate seeding ship years earlier. The Icarus Base personnel were forced to evacuate to it when they were attacked.[1]. Destiny is capable of FTL travel, but doesn't require hyperspace[2]. It is powered using material from stars as fuel[3]. The Destiny has several energy weapons placed around its hull, though it is capable of only using 40 percent of them[4]. The Destiny has sixteen FTL drives, though recently one of the drives was removed due to the damage the drive had[5] About a year later, an alternate Destiny was found that the crew canibilized for spare parts to at least partially repair their Destiny with.[6]
