The Emperor-class battleship is a heavy capital warship in the Imperial Navy of the Imperium of Man, serving as a fleet command-and-control vessel. It can be noted for the replacement of the heavy armor and torpedo battery in the bow; instead the ship's bow houses a massive sensor array and additional forward turrets. The Emperor-class also features launch and recovery facilities for starfighters and bombers, giving it a carrier role, as well.
