FM-2 Falcon

The Falcon is a 5th-generation all-weather multi-role fighter with vectored-thrust capability, supercruise, multiple engagement capability, sophisticated control systems, and ten modular weapon hardpoints that can mount and fire missiles of virtually any manufacture.

In spite of a large missile capacity, the ability to track, assign to, and launch missiles at several targets simultaneously often resigns the Falcon to releasing a single devastating volley of missiles from exceptionally long range, followed by a hasty retreat to rearm.

BM-1 Echelon

The Echelon is Miratia's mainstay strategic bomber; a stealthy, supercruising monster with its own defensive anti-aircraft missiles.

Out of context, it is comparable to a B-1B bomber with a pair of anti-aircraft missiles pointing forward and backward.

BM-X2 Interruptor

The Interruptor was a proposal drawn up by the Airfleet for a highly-mobile delivery platform for the Type-9 series of anti-aircraft missiles. If constructed, it would have been the largest and most heavily-armed air superiority aircraft in the world, powered by a nuclear reactor and carrying more than seventy AAM-2 missiles, which would be fired from four internal rotary launchers. The launchers would each hold up to six missiles at a time, and be reloaded mid-flight by the craft's crew.

Since it was determined, however, that the mere development of such a craft would bankrupt Miratia as a state, the project was cancelled before a prototype could be built.

Miratian Army Vehicles

MC-1 combat land cruiser

The MC-1 land cruiser is Miratia's state of the art main battle tank. The primary armament consists of a manually-loaded 120 mm smoothbore gun, and two auto-loading 80 mm mortars. It is also equipped with a pair of 12.7 mm machine guns that can be manually or remotely operated. These can also be switched out for fully-automatic 40 mm grenade launchers. Additionally, the vehicle sports a heavily armoured tread system that is, for all intents and purposes, immune to tampering by anything less than military-grade high-explosives.

The MC-1 can be fitted with a number of box-launchers for GAM-1A anti-aircraft missiles, though this is rarely done due to both the considerable amount of close-range firepower it can bring to bear against low-flying aircraft, as well as detection and IFF issues.

Out of context, the land cruiser is comparable to a somewhat heavier version (70 t) of the American M1A1 Abrams main battle tank, or the Israeli Merkava Mk IV.

MC-X1A urban land cruiser

The MC-X1A is an experimental derivative of the MC-1 land cruiser designed for urban warfare. It sacrifices the two mortars for a significantly shorter 130 mm auto-loading gun, thicker top and underside armour, and an even more heavily-armoured tread system that will be nearly impervious to all but a direct hit on the track links from the front or rear with an RPG.

MC-2 Cobra infantry fighting vehicle

Miratian Navy

Stingray-class KG

• Guided missile corvette.

• Sixteen vertical launch tubes, with storage for up to 16 additional SSM-4 or SAM-9 missiles.
• Landing pad can accommodate a single NA-1 Fisher naval patrol plane or helicopter.

Kraken-class SSG

The Kraken is a diesel-electric hunter-killer submarine armed with guided missiles and torpedoes. The design sacrifices range for larger ammunition stores and advanced sonar, as it is primarily a defensive craft. It is not suitable for intercontinental operations. The VLS is compatible with UAM-9 and USM-4 missiles.

Millenium-class LHA

A future assault carrier under development in concert with the North Frequesuan Trust. It will be suitable for ferrying and launching a full squadron of up to 25 helicopters and as many as 300 troops and their equipment to any shoreline location in Frequesue. It will also be equipped with SAM-9 anti-aircraft missiles, a defensive naval gun, and a full complement of point-defense systems, rumoured to include Miratian-developed rolling airframe missile launchers.
