Wank is a derogatory term for "getting off" on the supposed superiority of one's favorite fiction franchise, or some aspect of it. It is usually used as a suffix attached to the particular fictional term that the wanker finds so fascinating. For example, Star Wars EU author Karen Traviss is reknowned for Mando-wanking: treating Mandalorians as the ultimate warriors in the universe. Similarly, fans of Babylon 5 and some other SF series are known for Bio-wank, and some Trekkies are known for Borg-wank.
