Unas are a species of sapient humanoid creatures native to the Goa'uld homeworld of P3X-888, easily discernable by their reptilian appearance, and they were their primary hosts up until the discovery of humanity. Unas possess massive strength and durability, and they are able to quickly recover from wounds that would leave a human being dead.
For the most part the Unas have been abandoned as hosts by the Goa'uld in favor of humans, although a few Goa'uld make use of them for brute strength. Populations of Feral Unas exist at a stone age level of development.
